the Haus Belair

Position

The Haus Belair lies in a very quiet situation on the south-west slope of Leukerbad. The apartments with a south-west balcony have a fantastic panoramic view over the village and the mountains. The valley station of the Gemmi cable-car, ski-lift and a children's ski school with its own children's practice ski lift are only 2 minutes away.

With the Gemmi cable-car you can go up to the stylish mountain restaurant at 2350m above sea-level. There are 20 kms of cross-country skiing runs. The chair-lift Daubensee-Gemmi is a great place to start your ski tours and walks. In 10-15 minutes walk you can get to the Torrent cable-car that will take you up to the Rinderhütte ( a large mountain restaurant with panorama sun terrace) at about 2300 meters above sea-level. On the slopes of the Torrenthorn there are 6 ski lifts and 2 chair lifts some of which go up to 2900m over sea and there are also another two gondelas that are together another 2300m in length. The Torrenthorn is known as one of the most beautiful ski and walking areas.

Just 5-7 minutes away from the house there are two supermarkets, a modern sports centre with a skating rink, and curling, tennis and squash courts etc.

In either 5 or 20 minutes walk you can get to two of the biggest thermal baths in Europe, the Burgerbad and the Alpinetherme with their different outdoor and indoor baths and a Roman- Irish steam bath.

Infrastructure

For your car we will rent you a space in a garage or a parking place in front of the house. A lift will take you and your luggage from the door to your apartment. In the house there is a washing and drying room for you to use.

Apartment Interior

In the hall of the apartment there is either a wardrobe or a coat stand and there are enough cupboards in every room.

Each apartment has a colour television, a radio, a telephone with a outside line. On the balconies you will find a garden tables and chairs. There are sun chairs that you can either use on the sun terrace or your own personal balcony.
