Position
The Arosa free-bus takes you to one of the cross-country skiing
tracks, a cross-country ski school, a children's ski-school with the possibility of eating
there too, two toboggan runs, and the alpine "18 hole"
golf-course. There is an idyllic lake swimming pool (free entry), several indoor swimming pools, a salt-water pool, an all-weather-astroturf sports-field, two children's playgrounds, mini-golf and a pitch and put course, several tennis courts (outdoor and indoor tennis, and squash), a 'vita-parcours', a running club, a riding school, with the upper and lower lake to go trout fishing just a few minutes away.
Lots of shops, smart cafés and restaurants, bars and discos, a modern cinema, an attractive casino are sure to make your stay full of
variety. You are not allowed to drive at night in the whole of Arosa, when only the night buses and taxis are allowed on the
road.
Arosa the Mecca for winter walkers!Not only winter-sports lovers enjoy Arosa, also the many hikers and walkers can look forward to enjoying the 35-40 km of professionally-cleared paths and walks. These walks go past alpine huts and mountain restaurants, where winter-sports lovers meet over a plate of tasty Alpine macaroni or rösti and a good glass of wine. In our own private, heated parking place, we will gladly book a place for your car. A modern lift will take you and your baggage easily from the parking lot or from the main entrance to your apartment. In the house there is a washing and drying room with two washing machines, two tumblers and a dryer for you to use. A big sunny terrace with garden chess, table-tennis, garden tables and chairs and a open grill-place are there for you to use. There are also a certain number of non-smoking apartments, if you wish. In the hall of the apartments there is either a wardrobe or a coat-stand and there are enough cupboards in every room. The kitchens have 2-3 cooking plates, with a fridge, enough plates and cutlery, pans, and a coffee-machine. Some also have a dishwasher and oven. High-chairs and children's cots are available on request. The apartments have colour television, radio, and a telephone with an outside line. On the balconies you will find garden tables and chairs. The Haus Bristol lies on the south-east slope in a quiet and centrally-position.
Most of the chalets have a very beautiful panoramic view of the lake and the mountains.
